November 2006 Results from www.overseaslist.com Who's looking Where These are the results of searches on Google in Ireland for topics relating to overseas property compiled by www.overseaslist.com, Ireland's Overseas Property Portal.
Analysis: On the face of it there are no major changes since last month. France, Portugal & Spain remain the three most researched destinations of 2006. Germany, Sweden & the UK show improved hits and the Cape Verde Islands have re-appeared in our Top Thirty once again. Montenegro has shown a decrease in interest, possibly resulting from a sharp rise in property prices in the region. An interesting analysis of research stats between 2005 and 2006 shows that last year France, Germany & Poland were the most researched countries. Notable entries in 2006 are Dubai, Malta, Morocco, Romania, China, Slovakia and Canada. 2006 has been a most interesting year and as our statistics show, more and more people are researching overseas property on-line. A decline in visitor numbers to recent overseas property exhibitions indicates that people are carrying out their research in alternate ways such as news media and on-line.
