Analysis:  Overall, the statistics remain very stable with the top three most researched countries the same, but with a switch in positions for Spain and Portugal. This signifies a steady level of research by the public into the closest and more familiar destinations of France and the Iberian Peninsula.  Florida, Bulgaria, Sweden, Slovenia and the UK have all shown marginal increases from last month, with some far flung destinations such as Venezuela appearing in the Top Thirty as well as the Caribbean, which has long been surprising in its lack of popularity. It is very possible that distance and high prices have been responsible for this lack of interest.

There has been a significant drop in research for one of the 'Hot Spots' of 2006, the Cape Verde Islands drop from 26th to 35th position; with Austria and The Balearics also losing some ground.
