Barcares

With an all year round population of approx 6000 residents, this seaside resort stays alive year long. It is an established French village, with two weekly markets, schools, supermarkets, restaurants etc. With over 8kms of sandy beaches and a lively marina, it boasts many amenities for the young and old : sailing schools, water park, equestrian centre, ice skating rink, cinema etc. Just a 20 minute drive from the city of Perpignan, Barcares is serviced by three airports : Carcassonne, Perpignan and Girona.

 

Climate

Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the warmest areas of France, where daytime temperatures can easily top 30 degrees in the summer. In the region of Perpignan, in particular, which has the highest number of sunhours in France, you can sit outside on one of the many charming terraces from early spring to late autumn.

 

The Development

15 terraced villas and 41 apartments are being built approximately 300 metres from the Mediterranean Sea.
