La Manga Club,
Europe’s leading golf and
leisure resort, will soon be
holding its first ever
property exhibition in
Ireland. The prestigious
Spanish development will be
offering a selection of
apartments and townhouses for
sale at a forthcoming
exhibition at the Westbury
Hotel, Dublin on March 10th
and 11th from 11 am – 6 pm.
La Manga Club was initially
established in the early
1970’s and over the years has
built a reputation for the
excellence of the sporting and
leisure facilities it
provides. It boasts three
championship golf courses, a
28 court tennis academy, a
professional football centre,
a 2,000 sq mtr full service
Spa, a secluded beach with
water sports, horse riding,
numerous bars and restaurants,
and the 5 star La Manga Hyatt
Regency Hotel. It even has
facilities for Gaelic football
and often hosts winter
training sessions for Irish
county sides. In 2006 it was
voted the leading sports and
leisure resort in Europe, an
accolade it has won twice in
the past five years.
“Ireland is a very important
market for us” commented La
Manga’s Joan McClean. “We
already have many satisfied
Irish buyers and we are
absolutely thrilled to be able
to come to Dublin. Our slogan
for these properties is ‘Be
Richer’ as purchasers will not
only be enriched by the sheer
pleasure of enjoying all of
the wonderful facilities of
the resort, but they can also
profit through our leaseback
scheme which offers a 5% pa
rental guarantee for the first
5 years.”
All of the units are situated
in a part of the resort known
as Las Lomas Village, which is
already constructed and
awaiting occupation. It is an
integral part of La Manga Club
with access to all of the
world class facilities.
Moreover, from an investment
perspective, purchasers are
buying into a well established
business with traditional
rental occupation rates of
approximately 70%. All
properties are purchased as
part of a 16 year leaseback
agreement, with Hyatt
International renting and
managing the units on the
owners’ behalf. These will be
the only self catering units
at the entire La Manga Club
which will be under Hyatt
management. Owners will be
entitled to use their own
units for 30 days pa, plus
they will also be granted the
additional use of a studio
apartment for up to 6 days per
month. In theory, it is
therefore possible for owners
to utilise the facilities of
La Manga for 102 days pa.
“Purchasers are buying into a
world class resort,” continued
Ms McClean, “They get the best
of both worlds, with extensive
access for personal usage, a
guaranteed rental income, and
the ongoing marketing power of
Hyatt International renting
and managing the unit. It is a
package which really does have
everything.”
Studios commence from
€207,100, 1 bedrooms from
€303,300, 2 bedrooms from
€398,100, and 3 bedrooms from
€523,100. All units come
fully furnished and Spanish
finance is available.
The exhibition takes place at
The Westbury Hotel, Dublin, on
March 10th and 11th 11am-6pm.
The promotion is being run in
